Op 23 en 24 september is het 40 jaar geleden dat het bos gekapt werd voor de aanleg van de A27. 40 jaar later en het bos wordt weer bedreigd. Honderden bomen moeten wijken voor een nutteloze verbreding In het weekend van 23 en 24 september is er een wake, een fiets demonstratie en workshops in het bos.

Net zoals elke keer als er een demonstratie gevoerd wordt voor en/of in Amelisweerd komen de politieke partijen weer uit de bosjes gekropen. Staan ze daar weer met hun pakjes, vlaggetjes en bordjes. Partijen die nooit echt iets zullen betekenen voor het bos.

AK-Utrecht is sinds het begin Amelisweerd niet geasfalteerd via de zijkant betrokken. Daarom roept AK-Utrecht samen met Active for Justice op, om de zwart groene vlag tijdens het protest te laten wapperen. Neem de zwart groen vlag mee en laat zien dat echt kracht van onderen komt.

Meer wouden, minder wouten.
